Art is Life
My paintings are a connection to the land and the people of Saipan and are inspired by the healing energy I’ve been able to find while living here. While form and symbolism are integral to my paintings, the underlying goal of my work is to capture the feelings of peace and connection that have never failed to uphold the culture which surrounds me that has persisted despite generations of geopolitical conflicts.
Life is art
Where other artists tend to create to address and express feelings of pain, remorse, loss, sorrow or regret; my work is the salve for these feelings while the process of creation is the remedy.
